Who:
We are a student organization who does our part to help create a just and peaceful place for all animals by actively promoting a lifestyle free of cruelty and exploitation.

Why:
We believe that all life is connected and that all animals, human and nonhuman, deserve the right to live free from suffering.

How:

• SPREAD AWARENESS through discussions, leafleting, film showings, and lectures.

• VOLUNTEER at the Lawrence Humane Society and other animal organizations

• Offer MORE VEG OPTIONS on campus by meeting with the KU Dining.

• CREATE COMMUNITY through veg potlucks and baking classes.

• COLLABORATE with Animal Outreach of KS on their campaign to retire 2 elephants from the Topeka Zoo.

• Support the PROTECTION of the Wakarusa Wetlands.

• Host big EVENTS such as Free Food, Fashion and Compassion, a collaboration of over 300 students & community members for a creative buffet-style meal and KU’s 1st CRUELTY-FREE FASHION SHOW!
