The ECM “Silent Saturdays” are occasions at the end of each semester to ‘slow down’. In keeping with monastic tradition of community energizing out of silence, participants are invited to gather at 12:30 pm and after introductions work, meditate or be in silence until 3:15 when snacks are available. Then the silence again commences until 7:15 when a celebratory meal will be shared where students together answer the question “what has been significant for me this semester”.
