PostHeaderIcon TED Talk Community Night

Every second and fourth Tuesday of the month the ECM wil be hosting TED Talk Community Night a new program centered around community building and idea sharing. A potluck meal will be shared at 7pm and a preselected TED talk will be presented following the meal. A discussion over the topic of the TED will follow. The discussion will go until 9pm on these nights. Please label your dishes for the potluck as vegan, vegetarian, or meaty.
Join us in exploring the role of creativity in our culture. We will begin and end the series commentary on how our education system vales creativity. We will hear from authors, architects and academics all sharing ideas worth spreading.

What is Ted?
"TED is a small nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. Since then its scope has become ever broader"
"We believe passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately, the world. So we're building here a clearinghouse that offers free knowledge and inspiration from the world's most inspired thinkers, and also a community of curious souls to engage with ideas and each other."
